It is our hope that this blog portal might offer to our visitors an opportunity to dialogue with our priest on topics which are vital for our salvation. We will discipline ourselves by focusing our dialogue on questions pertaining to the Orthodox Christian Way: our Faith, Ethos, and our "working with God".

Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” (John 6:28-29)

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Incarnational theology

From the wisdom of Saint Maximus the Confessor:

"Whosoever accepts within himself a commandment and carries it out, has received and mystically has in himself the Holy Trinity."

"When we speak of Christ, it is a hypostatic faith. The hypostatic faith is active and creative. God the Logos reveals Himself in those who practice it. Incarnate through the commandments, He, the Logos, leads those who follow the commandments to the Father, with Whom He is one by nature."

"Since the Divine Logos is the beginning and the end of all things; He is the end and the goal of all aspirations and movements."

"Anything that is offered sincerely from the soul to the best of one's ability is pleasing to God, even if it appears small in comparison with great things."
