On Saturday, June 29th 2019, we celebrated our patronal feast by hosting our first festival in many decades. We began our day with festal Matins followed by Divine Liturgy in which we were joined by clergy and faithful of several local Orthodox parishes. Immediately following Liturgy, we made a procession through the neighborhood, concluding at the festival tent where Father Paul blessed the icons, the gathered faithful and the festival itself to the glory of God.
The Festival included live music, church tours, a bounce house, a petting zoo, pony rides, food, drinks, temporary tattoos for the kids, games, Russian and Greek dancers, a fire truck, police horses, and more. Below are some of the pictures taken during this wonderful event.
